New design for Valpres' LOCPOWER energy recovery valve
A new model with an inline body design that offers all the benefits of traditional LOCPOWER valves: high-efficiency energy recovery, lower operating costs, and reduced environmental impact.
The new body design allows the valve to be positioned parallel to the pipeline axis, ensuring numerous and varied benefits:
-reduced space: the new design significantly reduces the valve's footprint, making it ideal for applications where space is limited;
-simplified maintenance: easier access to the valve for maintenance and repairs due to its lateral orientation;
-expanded material selection: this new configuration allows greater flexibility in choosing materials for the valve body, ensuring greater compatibility with various fluids and applications.

VALPRES IS READY TO SHIP ITS BIGGEST CONTROL VALVE!
We are thrilled to announce the shipment of the largest control valve ever manufactured by Valpres: a 36" 600# BW with a diverter plate for flow control with high rangeability.
Our continuous commitment enables us to provide advanced and reliable solutions to our customers.
This new creation will help optimise the performance of the natural gas transport system with reduced environmental impact.

Innovative LOCPOWER valve technology
Thanks to the innovative LOCPOWER valve technology, 100% made in Italy, it is possible to recover the power dissipated during service and reduce the CO2 footprint by reusing the energy produced.
An example is the LOCPOWER valve, tested as usual on flowtest, and recently installed in an Italian aqueduct in parallel with an existing valve. The use of this energy recovery valve allows the customer to self-produce up to 170MWh in one year and save over 69 tonnes of CO2 per year. The recovered energy is used to power the lifting pumps of the aqueduct.
A new valve concept that allows for improved network efficiency and greater protection of the environment.
